boys and cake

presh husbands like to bond with rocket ships. its a sunday afternoon type of thing. its also presh that presh husbands became friends because we are presh friends.  i'm so glad they can bond at a couch in middle of anthropologie.





also this is presh.  well not presh. w o n d e r f u l! I'm trying to decide if I really do love my sparsely decorated walls or if they need this kind of wonder treatment. (P.S. my fav blogger jordan ferney's husband is the artist, oh and they are on sale)

i'm especially fond of these prints because they remind me of the cakes at my wedding. jake and i were lucky enough to have 10 different women in our lives bake us a unique cake to serve at the reception.  yum.

day 28

this day (like most days) involved stripes.  although i couldn't be more excited about wearing anything outside of my thirty, i will be wearing more stripes. in fact, stripes are in my imaginary shopping cart as we speak. also, how cute is this skirt?

Day 27 [ma]

murphy has a bow tie i made him for christmas. he pretends like he enjoys wearing around me, but the bite out of the left side tells me otherwise. what a sneak.

day 22 - the half birthday edition.

today was my half birthday. how did we celebrate? by wearing stripes, duh.

it was a good day and we're glad to be home.

Here's to the last 10 days.

Confession : I had a really bad attitude this morning about the challenge. I ripped on my outfit, crossed my arms, and picked a fight with my husband. It was pretty outrageous.

If we ever do this challenge again, remind me that I need more color in my 30 and to not take my poor clothing options on my loved one :)

Day 19 [ma]

I'm at Banana Republic outlet NOT shopping. It's sad. The sale is up to 60% off.

I did not buy the blue dress.

I did not buy this coat.

But I finally talked him into a gingham button up. Isn't he cutie?

So long precious striped shirt. Hopefully you will be on clearance when 30for30 is over.

day 17.

we were on the same wave length today with day 17's outfit choice.

so. here we are in

(more familiarly known as hobby lobby). there were at least 300 workers

on shift during our photo escapade and every.single. one.

of them walked by us being

sills and bills.

don't worry, we gave them our best.

this was the mcdonalds my favorite grandma

would treat me and my sisters to after a long school day.

this was also the fine eating establishment

that i visited in my wedding dress

after my big hot wedding.

who knew those big yellow arches could mean so much.

Day 15 [ma]

 as a child, i often was referred to as a "bag lady."  it was my parents' attempt at putting a cute spin on why i layered my clothes (like a homeless) and changed 5x a day.  

day 15 was like a flashback.  its not even suitable to post. i will tell you this - someone at work asked me why i was wearing a bib. (ruffles don't get the love they deserve!) 

i want to go to bed and try again tomorrow.

saturdays in visalia are always best when started off with breakfast at valhalla.  today i had the kids french toast sticks, sausage (covered in syrup), and 2 poached eggs medium.

raise your hand if you are excited as i am for secrets from a stylist? its about time hgtv did something real. if i see one more red dining room, i just might barf. thanks emily henderson for keeping it real. my dvr is set. february 26th can't come quick enough.
